AMERICAN ISLAMIC ACADEMY (2000)

With rapidly increasing enrollment, the Islamic Institute of Knowledge needed a new facility capable of handling K-12 instruction. In response to their needs, CDPA designed a two-story structure, housing classrooms on the second floor and laboratories, administration and gymnasium on the first floor.

The facade of the school is brick and stone veneer with an asphalt shingled roof. A covered drop-off area connects the new building to the existing Islamic Institute of Knowledge building.
